Yesterday’s West Palm Beach .Net User Group’s meeting was quiet special. Our Microsoft DE and speaker for our July meeting, Joe Healy, aka “devfish” (www.devfish.net) drove more than 250 miles to share with us his take on VS2010 and to show us his 36-hour old Windows Phone 7. Joe also promised to return to our group in November to dedicate a whole meeting to Windows Phone 7 as we had limited time to explore Microsoft’s innovative reincarnation of its mobile platform. Our meeting lasted a record 2.5 hours with all 30 attendees staying till the very last minute and asking lots of questions about VS2010 and its features then discussing Windows Phone 7.
We appreciate Joe’s dedication and commitment to the community and we look forward to having him visit us again to share more about Windows Phone 7. Below are some photos of the event.
