I'm at barcamp in London today and am about to get into the first session of the day. Ben Metcalfe did his big welcome speech and is now in the process of being podcast!
The event so far seems to be going smoothly and people are generally behaving themselves and are having fun. it does seem a bit odd being in an office camping with a whole load of geeks.People are hurridly putting slides together and seem to be putting together sessions.
I will try to blog and podcast and photograph the event as much as I can. But expect uploads etc to be intermittent as we are on a high demand wired network and power is at a premium.
One of the odd things about these events is meeting the people who read your blog and take to you knowing a whole lot more about you than you do about them. I guess it means welcome to the web and social networking!
