Me and my Mobi!

Well after putting that post up on smartphone mobiles, I obviously jinx'd myself... either that or Steve Clayton did... To cut a long story very short, my poor little mobi that I love so much ended up in a puddle of water!  I don't think it has survived at all... it turns on but the keys don't work.  Poor little mobi!

So now I am back with my old XDAII.  So far no one has managed to get me onto Smartphone and with being on the XDA I'm back off of Symbian at least for a while... I wonder what will be next.

You'd be surprised what miracles can happen after you disassemble, rinse with distilled water, dry thoroughally (use a hairdryer from about 2 feet away for about 10 minutes or so, then let it sit for about 5 hours), and reassemble. I've seen things folks thought were totally hosed come back and say "Hello".

Unrelated, but if you have 3 minutes and want to tap your toes, check out my brother in a music video:

I may just give that a try... it's not as though it could possibly make it any worse :)

BTW you can tell your brother that the video's not bad. I enjoyed it. :)

Lorin's right. My old Sony MME phone (oh how I loved it - http://img.gsmarena.com/i/bigpic/soz5b.gif) feel in to a grid once and after fishing it out with a kids fishing net and giving it some hairdryer treatment it worked again. Though it smelt a bit :)
Mind you, I'm hoping it's RIP for your Samsung Sarah and we can find you a smartphone to play with.

I didn't jinx it...honest!

How can you say that you want my mobi to RIP... I want to resurrect it :) Poor little mobi! (Bad Steve!)
