London to Brighton 2006!

London To Brighton June 2006
Please Sponsor Me for the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride on the 18th June 2006!

Once again I am doing the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride.  It's 54 miles of cycling across country with 2 big hills and one really big one!  I'm just starting to train for it now, as I really want to get up all the hills first time.  No stopping and no walking.  Unlike last year where I didn't have a choice coz people kept stopping in front of me.

I would really appreciate any support and sponsorship that people are willing to give!  You can sponsor me on the British Heart Foundation website!

Have a good day and please give generously!

Sarah

ps, spread the word that I am looking for sponsorship!  Lets see how much we can raise just through blog marketing!

Good luck Sarah, i'll be there with 10 others myself. I've never done it before and bought myself a bike last week. I've heard a lot of bad things about that BIG hill at the end, lol.

Hope it went well !!! I did it and my legs are aching today and what everyone said about Ditchling Beacon was true ! LOL best bits were the downhills, the friendly people, and the finish lol...great day, great event :-)

I had a fantastic time too! I met some really nice people, one or two I will probably catch up with again at some point. Ditchling is really harsh and what they say about it is soo true!

I did a bit of a write up of my own adventures on London to Brighton.(http://geekswithblogs.net/waterbaby/archive/2006/06/19/82309.aspx) I hope you enjoy them! Stats and geeky stuff to follow.
