I just thought I would let everyone know that i will be down on the riverside cheering on the crews doing their races at the annual Oxford Cambridge boatrace this Sunday! I can't wait! Unfortunately in previous years I have only had the chance to see it on TV rather than for real.
As Will knows I have a bit of a soft spot for rowers. It's something about their strength, stamina and skill! Those guys are just awesome. Now I guess you are wondering which side I will be cheering on... well to be honest I am split between the teams. I had an ex who used to go to Oxford...(-1 point) and I have had friends who have been there (+1 point!). However ever since I was very young I have always been drawn towards Cambridge as a university with it's beautifully ornate buildings and wonderful scenery (+1 point).
Well if I add up those basic points I guess I should really support Cambridge :)
If any of my London friends are also there and want to catch up at the race then give me a ring on my mobile. I'll be in London from around 11am I expect :) (If I can manage to drag myself out of bed!)
