There is another developer day being held at Microsoft on Saturday 22nd October 2005. I have taken the drastic step of putting myself forward to do a talk on Windows CE and Windows Mobile Device Software Development. If you would like me to do the talk you will need to vote for it!!! The more votes the more likely I am to have to do the talk.... The choice is yours. I hope to see some of you at the event! Either way I will be there.

Title: Windows CE and Windows Mobile Device Software Development
This session is designed to give developers who know how to program in .Net to learn about device development using the .Net Compact Framework. The session will introduce them to windows forms and the constraints that screen space creates on usable designs. I will also introduce a number of different database offerings and their benefits and drawbacks on the platforms. I will go into some detail about potential pitfalls and problems and how to overcome some of these. I will also provide some basic details about the Open Net Smart Device Framework and how it can be used to overcome some of the problems that developers may find.
