Well, you would think I have better things to do whilst in Belgium at the moment, but no. I am here on business, and am staying at a very poor hotel in Gent. I am not at all impressed. The quality of the food was below parr to say the least, the rooms need re-decorating and the swimming pool if you can call it that, is green!!!! (that's just not right!)
So why am I not out and about in Gent tonight you may ask... Because I was up and about at 4am! I must be crazy... I still managed to miss my flight, due to the M3 junction to the M25 being closed at 5:30 am when it was due to be re-opened at 5:00am! Fortunately I managed to catch the next available flight, but my poor credit card felt it! Oh well, there's not much that i can do about it now.
on a better note, tomorrow should be a better day and I should get to see some pretty parts of Belgium in the morning. And tomorrow evening I have been promised a good night out in Belgium... we shall see. I hope I am plesantly suprised.
At least this place has one benefit. I can access wifi... Thank goodness for small mercies.
