There was a lot of talk about SPOT devices last year from Mr Gates and his team… you remember… Smart Portable Object Technologies… So far I haven't seen any of these things and it just makes me wonder whether it is another idea that they are just going to shelve and leave forever and a day.
I had hoped that they would lead to some interesting little portable projects and things. Think about SPOT and Zigbee when the two things both come out… Now that is an area that I would love to hear more about… If anyone has information on it can they let me know about it coz all the info that I had about it is about a year or two old.
