London hit by terrorists

News reports have stated that there have been 3 blasts on the London Underground and one confirmed bus explosion.  The perpetrators of this act are not yet know. Initial reports suggested that the underground blasts were caused by a large power surge, however this has now been revoced after reports from witnesses saying otherwise.

All this coming the day after London wins 2012 and on the second day of the G8 summit.  Is this a coincidence? Personally I doubt it, however I would love to be proved wrong.

The London mobile phone network is blocked with people trying to contact each other to find out if people are alright.  For anyone who is trying to contact their partner or friends and family, please try to find other forms of communication such as landlines and the internet.  E-mails and blog sites can help with this.

Do NOT travel to London unless absolutely necessary as transport links in and out of the city are in chaos.

If anyone has the webspace to create a site for people to contact each other urgently then please set this up quickly and we can forward people to it!
