With some spare time on Friday just before heading off to the Company Xmas party I took the time to check out Brian Madden's earlier article about A listing of Citrix and Server-Based Computing Blogs and Websites and while looking through these I came across the ThinGuy (Craig Bender) again. (Oh, and thaks for the inclusion Brian! ;-)
What I found quite neat was a little map to one side of his blog for ClustrMaps so that you can have a nifty little world map showing where around the world your Net Traffic is coming from. It is listed as a Beta, but it certainly looks like a pretty polished effort and is free for use if you have less than a thousand hits a day - having said that it's only USD$ 9.99 per year for sites that exceed that.
Neat idea, simple and effective. A very good example of innovative thinking. What I find facinating is that when I looked at the map I found that I even have someone from Argentina who has visited my Blog - how cool is that? This can only help foster and encourage the community feeling that most of us using Blogs and Forums get now?
So you can now find an example of this for this site under the Ad on the left
