Sometimes we need to enter different language characters in the input controls of our website to test localization. Assume that we have made a localizable website and would like to test the same by entering French characters for example. This can be easily done using Input Method Editor (IME) in Windows which is a convenient tool to change the keyboard layout according to the language set and also allows to enter complex characters of languages like Chinese, Japanese etc.
To start the IME:
1. Go to Control-Panel and open Regional And Language Options (see the screenshot below)

2. Go to Languages tab and click Details button.
3.You will see Text Services and Input Languages dialog box as shown in the screenshot below:

In the screenshot the default language is English. To add additional languages click the Add button and select a language you need (see the screenshot below):

This will add the Hindi Language keyboard. Click Ok button to save the changes and exit Control Panel. You will notice the language bar on the top right of your desktop and you can click the langugage button and switch languages accordingly (see screenshot below):

So you can switch to different languages and input characters in your test website to check localizability.
