A nice IT PRO Check List from microsoft

Verify your User Agent string detection detects Internet Explorer 7 per the procedure outlined on the Internet Explorer blog.
Check your website for the use of CSS hacks that may have been turned off in Internet Explorer 7 per the procedure outlined on the Internet Explorer blog.
Verify that transparent images on your website are rendered correctly?alpha transparency PNG is now supported in Internet Explorer 7.
Verify that your website hasn't been adversely affected by IE7 Security changes:

a. SSL 2.0 Support has been turned off.
b. Support for scriptlets has been turned off by default.
c. If you are using HTTPS, your site is delivering a valid digital certificate for your
    DNS name.
d. Do not mix HTTP content into an HTTPS page (see our Internet Explorer blog)

Verify that your website doesn't get flagged as a Suspicious or Known Phishing site per Microsoft's Anti-Phishing White Paper.
If you develop ActiveX® controls, make sure they are installed in the 'disabled' state so that users will activate them when needed, and reduce their surface area for attack.
Verify that your RSS feeds are discoverable in Internet Explorer 7 by following the procedure in our Internet Explorer blog.
Make sure your feeds work correctly in Internet Explorer 7. Navigate to them in Internet Explorer 7, and refer to the Publisher's Guide for details on how they should look.
If you would like to add/implement access to your site's search provider, implement the window.external.AddSearchProvider(URL) call in your webpage to prompt the end user (see our Internet Explorer blog).
Utilize the Internet Explorer 7 Developer Toolbar to explore the DOM tree and find elements on the page, outline elements, control images, resize pages to common screen resolutions, and have a powerful ruler that lets you measure pixel perfect content on your page. It also will help you to validate against existing standards and provides pointers to W3C specs.
Make sure you've tested your browser add-ins to ensure they activate correctly with the updated changes to Internet Explorer.
Validate the removal of the Intranet zone for non-domain joined machines.
