Next generation Three MiFi unit - call for questions to put to Three

I've been invited to a preview of the next generation Three mobile Mi-Fi unit in their London offices this week.

If you've got feedback on the current MiFi unit; niggles, wish list items or general feedback, or you've got any questions about what the next generation MiFi unit might be, drop me an e-mail or post a comment with your question on this blog.

I'll be taking any questions from my blog or my twitter account @westleyl to Three, and if I get an answer I can publish, I'll add to this blog post with the details.

Thanks

Liam

UPDATE - I collected all your questions from here and twitter and you'll find a sneak preview with your questions answered over here; http://geekswithblogs.net/twickers/archive/2010/06/12/sneak-peek-at-next-generation-three-mifi-unit--huawei.aspx

Bad points:
1) It is appallingly bad on trains. It doesn't reconnect properly when it looses a signal
2) 3 buttons just to turn the thing on? It's crazy.
3) It seems to use power quicker than USB charging can re-charge it
4) The data plans are stupid. You can buy the device and get a Three PAYG tariff with more Gb/month than you can buying the device with a data plan.

Good points:
1) When stationary, I get amazing data rates
2) It's small

That's a coincidence. I was about to buy two of the current gen models, but as they may be about to release a new one I may hold off.

Any information on release dates and whether or not they'll do an upgrade for current-gen owners, would be good.

Agree about the data plans being stupid. I'd like to see data plans for use abroad. Have often been asked if it can be used overseas and have to answer "don't know". Would also like to be able to make use of the txt allowance that comes with it more easily - both for incoming and outgoing especially when I'm using it on wifi and without having to run the awful 3 software - i.e. some form of txt gateway if that makes sense.

I'm hoping the next gen mifi router will be full HSPA so I can make the most of the network.
I held off getting the current one as it only supports up to 3.6mb/s
Ive also heard of probs peeps have had with it keeping it's connection and with connecting to and updating with apple mac osx which I use predominantly.
I found that recently when I had to use a friend's pc to update my d100 router in order to use my e1750 dongle.
This of course now gives me blistering speeds averaging 4.5mbs down and 1.2mbs up in many locations.
I'm hoping the new mifi router will give me the speeds, convenience and reliablity to switch over to that when it comes out.
