My proposed topic, How to start your own Software Development company for £5000, has been nominated as one of the topics for to held on 3rd June 2006 at Microsoft's UK headquarters in Reading. It's free, and you even get lunch thrown in. It's a great event for developers, and there are more technical topics on the agenda for those not seduced by my catchy topic title. My No.1 anticipated newspaper headline is now possible (UK only)
Having worked with television journalists they always had a list of tabloid banner headlines which they reckoned were ready to go if only the facts were there to back them up. My favourite occurred today. John Prescott (the deputy prime minister) has had an affair with a civil servant, according to the The Daily Mirror, but has anyone got this banner headline yet ? 2 SHAGS PRESCOTT ... keep reading tomorrow's papers ......
