OK, I admit I don't often visit homepages of corporate websites. If I do visit than it will be their Knowledgebase and their support centre on their websites. Won't have even noticed about the redesign if not read on Unofficial Microsoft Weblog.  I think the new design looks better than before when I last looked. Also it has all the main pointers on their great grand website. Does it assume that everyone accessing Microsoft website is using Windows XP as their desktop system?

Looks like people are complaining about this too? They are cribing about the Standards! For me I think that how many normal users will worry about Website not following standards? Standards are important but to what extent should we complain about it? As for me I am just happy that it loads OK with my IE and with my screen resolution and it works very well with Opera browser as well and it loads up quickly. This is what I want in my day to day life when I browser the website. I can't imagine thousands of user visiting the website each day validating the website just to see whether it complies to the web standards!
