Reported on SlashDot that school teaching “Certified Ethical Hacking” courses to school/University students for a fees for $US 4000. I think that this is a very good move and more and more Universities and schools should be including this kind of courses as a part of their curriculum. There are still very few Universities in Australia that are teaching students lessons on Security and how to secure their computer and Network. The main thing is Universities along with “how to secure..” lessons should train their students on how to use some of the tools that can harm the computers and networks which will ultimately give them the knowledge of how the software or system is exploited and so they can effectively secure their computers and networks.

Certified Ethical Hacker is a nice course targeted towards teaching people on how to secure as well use the tools in a constructive way. I am looking forward to doing this certification sometime in the future myself.
