This has been a nightmare thought for me for a while now. I don't know what new might come up tomorrow, but I am worried about viruses/worms that might enter our systems through RSS feeds or news aggregators. Technical guys and security experts, is this possible? I am sure anything is possible but how, in what format and when will this start happening.
Is it any better if Antivirus companies start integrating their product with News aggregators or vice versa. I for sure will look forward to much more better security features integrated in upcoming versions of anti-virus softwares.
Think about it this way, if more and more people start using feeds to read about what's going on around the world instead of visiting websites than virus writers need a job too, they have to come up with some new and neat ideas and viruses too. Good luck guys, look forward to seeing a virus which affects feeds soon.
