I am getting a bit lazy and tied up with few things at this stage, but I had to blog about this few days back. Do you still remember Jeff's 'Seven Day Rule', where he said that if you continously use the software for seven days the changes are there that you will continue to use that software, I have just dragged that rule till one month. I blogged about Onfolio and then ContenSaver long time back when I came to knew about this products, since then I have been propogating both these products wherever I go online and offline. I actually really love this products.

Now let me congratulate Joe Cheng of Onfolio and Roland Seigert of ContentSaver for being such a great help and spokesman for their product. I have seen Joe Cheng active on the Onfolio website forum and on other blogs on the Internet where he grabs a chance to help somebody or talk about Onfolio and he himself has designed some fascinating tools as well, I still have to try some myself, although I looked at the demos on his personal blog where as I have seen Roland active in answering few questions on my blog and he is in personal contact with me whenever I had any issues with ContentSaver or had any technical question and let me tell everybody, he did a great job at it, so guys keep up the good work.

Now back to my one month software testing rule, I have been showing people both these products, but personally for now, I think I will continue to use ContentSaver for my own personal use, reasons being as follows:-

  • It is extremely fast compared to Onfolio
  • It has some features that I really like, like grabbing multiple links to a page
  • I can export content to their normal form whenever I want it to be and all at once
  • I like the application's interface which is similar to Outlook
  • I like the feature it has in it's application and much more

Now for the things that I hate it is, the annoying error messages that it keeps on throwing at me time to time and crashes my Internet Explorer, if you are facing the same problems, then don't worry and post your problems here or email at support at support@macropool.com for any questions, I am sure Roland's team will be extremely co-operative and will try to handle all your queries, Roland was extremely fast and answered all my questions in less than 30 minutes, good service Roland. For myself I will keep on sending Roland any problems that I might face with the product and I am sure I will get a favourable response too.

Both Roland and Joe, good luck with your products and hope it keeps on getting better and better.
