Introduction to Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
Speaker:
Rob Windsor, ObjectSharp Consulting
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is a component of the upcoming .NET Framework 3.0. It combines and extends existing technologies (ASMX web services, remoting, message queuing, and COM+) into a unified framework for building distributed applications and connected systems.
This session, which is targeted at developers using ASP.NET web services today, will provide an overview of WCF and will include several coding demonstrations designed to illustrate the fundamentals of the technology.
