Big Ol' Electronic Billboards

I am here in Atlanta, taking the Sharepoint training I mentioned in my last post. I rode past huge electronic billboards, and three words popped into my head: Guitar Hero Wireless Ah, how wonderful!!!! I was thinking sooner or later someone is going to have a HUGE amp system and a HUGE TV hooked up to this game....I can hardly wait

SharePoint Foundation BootCamp

I didn't know a ton about SharePoint when I first heard I was going to this training, other than our clients wanted some help understanding how it works and some help setting it up. So far, I've been pretty impressed. I've been calling it "ShareWizard" as they isn't a lot of development in the sense of what I do involved, but you can certainly build a solution very quickly with little real hard work. Seems to me the biggest problem is that are *so* many options. I can definitely see how an organization...

And that's how they getcha.....

I was recently at a one day BizTalk training given by a solution partner at the Microsoft office in Atlanta. They had a giveaway at the end, as they usually do. I never win these. It's one of those things that I expect to not happen every time I go. Well, this time I won. A free copy of Halo3. Ok, ok...I know...good score, right? Well, I don't have an Xbox 360. Or at least, I didn't own one. I am now the proud owner of a Halo3 edition Xbox360, and the ashamed owner of a psyche that realizes I have...

I am not sure if I should laugh or cry over this....poor Santa!

This article is just too ridiculous....wow. Santa has been told he can't say "ho, ho, ho" because it might scare children and could be construed as derogatory to women

Savannah: I'd forgotten how blasted expensive it is!

I know, I know...not made many true "GWB" type posts lately. Sorry about that. Been too much personal life stuff going on to do much coding. Some is coming, though. Now that the event is done, and honeymoon over, I will be getting back to my work and such. Probably making a strong focus on Torquex. A buddy has some good game ideas I want to work on with him. However, before I move on, I thought I would say just a coupla things. Savannah rocked. Great place to go. However, just as a note: it is seriously...

New tattoo accomplished!

We got 'em today as expected. Here's a coupla shots of the unhealed tats. Will be just great when the heal. Sheri was a real trooper and didn't complain at all. :-) For any who wonder, hers is the smaller blue-green one...

Going under the knife....uh....needle.

I am on my honeymoon in Savannah, GA. Decided it was time to get another tattoo......and I am getting mine from one of the finest shops in all of Savannah. This shop has been around since the 1970s, and still does great work. Wish me luck

Married at long last

Today Sheri and I have gotten married. It has been a long road to get here, with all sorts of bumps. Our ceremony was just wonderful, and we had a marvelous time. I might post more about it later, once I have recovered, but for now I am content to say it is done and I am immeasurably happy. :-)
