I was looking for a hosting solution for some educational ASP.Net development (see previous posts), and signed up for the MS Live small business option since it was free. Well, it is, but it doesn't allow for you to use your own pages. You must use their tools to build your pages if you want the free service. I don't really have any issue with this, but it wasn't what I wanted. As a result, I decided I didn't want to use the service and I won't. Ah, well, I figured....and found ASP Spider instead.
However, I have been called several times by Microsoft marketing attempting to sell me services. Additionally, I am being now called by third party ASP providers to help me with my "web business". So, be warned if you decide to try the free service provided on MS Live.
