I have a pair of sound cancelling headphones made by Shure. They work very well, and I really like them. When I use them, I can hear nothing but my toons, and no one can hear my toons. This is how it's supposed to work, in theory. We have a guy on our gig who has a pair of Bose. These are pretty expensive "on the ear" headphones. He swears by them. He says he can't hear anything with them on. and it's no wonder. I find it wonderfully ironic that his noise cancelling headphones are so loud that everyone...

Spent several hours today trying to extend an existing typeddataset in VS 2005. I like typeddatasets for the most part, but they can be annoying with which to work. The one in question has about 50 tables in it. To be honest, I've not used them a ton. However, 50 tables seems a bit....unwieldy to me. Does this seem like a lot? Some random things I've thought about them: 1) they seem awfully fragile. They break faster than the iPhone. 2) trying to get the error out of one once you fill your DataAdapter...

Saw this article today. I had no idea that 360s have such a rate of failure. I remember reading that first gens had some trouble, but I guess the problems continue. I was also amazed at the numbers the entertainment division has in losses. Some serious coin, wow. Good thing MS as whole has so much cash
