BMG Sony Copy Protection, Part III the sequel

Well, it had to happen. Turns out a hacker has written a virus that exploits the changes made by Sony's new copy protection scheme to do bad things to your machine. CNN reports via: Read Article Last week, a buddy at work (referred to affectionately as Grubby) said the following upon reviewing the EULA that pops up when the CD is inserted: "And if their “Update” is not coded properly or is maliciously hacked and you loose all the data on your machine (or the software is not secure and someone gains access through it…grabs your personal info and tears you a new one)….BMG is only liable for 5$ of damage………" He said this on 11/03. Sure didn't take long for the worst to start happening. Again, I say I am NOT buying copy-protected music again. Period.
