Well, it's done! The Charleston Code Camp 2005 went off, despite some very short notice hitches, and we are talking about the next one...
Ok, not the next one, lol, but we are discussing getting some of the speakers together in new places to present their material.
I presented some material on nUnit, and just had a fanatastic time....really large fun. Our attendees came with wonderful attitudes, and had some excellent input.
I won't say much more at the moment, but I would like to say something about a few people:
John Lunsford was most excellent! Loved his session on "owning the client"; sheer brilliance! Be sure to grab his code and slide deck of the GCNUG website!
Frank Lavigne: (my apologies on the spelling) His presentation on the table PC made me want one terribly. He did a fantastic job on introducing development for it. As he says, a PPC this isn't, but it is a full-featured machine and OS in it's own right. I can hardly wait till xmas to get one to work on. :-)
Brian/Robin: Didn't get to see your sessions, sadly. However, the Camp wouldn't have been anything without you. Thanks a bunch; I truly enjoyed meeting you both in the flesh.
And lastly......
Congratulations to Chris Williams for the fantastic job he did setting everything up and making the camp a reality. I remember a few months ago when his e-mail came around saying something about a camp in September....couldn't have imagined that we'd actually do it. Thanks again, boss. You *are* the man.
