After cooling down...

Ok, ok...I have cooled down a little, and I am going to cut the iPower folks some slack. I called them, they promised to be better, and I promised to be more patient. I'll certainly keep some notes on how it goes this time around. Wish us luck, as we try to mend our damaged relationship....

iPowerWeb - the saga continues

Ok, great update....

I cancel my service, and the woman on the other end of the phone tells me “Ok, it's cancelled. You'll get your money back in 10 to 15 days.”

I am stunned: they can take it from you instanteously, but it takes 10-15 days to put it back???? How the heck does that work? Their support sucked, and that's why I cancelled. However, they decide it takes 10-15 days to put the money back????

I am going to continue up their chain with this. I warned them that if the money was not back in my account on time, I was going to raise unholy amounts of heck.

What ever happened to decent support, and service? Yea, gods......

iPowerWeb Sucks

I used to use this service for my webhosting awhile back, and it was pretty good. Since I was loooking for a reliable service, I decided to go with them again after comparing the services.

Boy, what a mistake.

To this very minute, I've been waiting to get my login information and billing confirmation. I can go to the site, and see that the domain has indeed been used, so I know the billing must have kicked in. However, I've tried on several separate occassions to get the support folks to send me the login info, and sent their billing team e-mails requesting the billing confirmation.

I am currently on hold waiting to cancel my account so I can find another.

Now, I know what you're thinking: couldn't there be a problem with the e-mail? It could be, but I have been receiving e-mails at this address all day. I also received the automated "we'll get back to you" e-mail earlier today.

This shouldn't be this hard, for pete's sake.

I mentioned to the last person with whom I chatted online that I was intending to cancel my account if this most recent attempt to send me e-mail failed. They said "whatever. Can I help with anything else?".

I am not wow-ed with them to say the least. If I can get my blasted money back, I am going to find someone else.
