New job!

I am moving on to a new position with a new company! I'll be doing Software Test Engineer for LendingTree.com starting July 11th. My last day at the current job will be the 6th. I am leaving my user group here, one I helped to start. I really hate that. I've some good buddies in that group. Charlotte has some great groups, too (I went to the Charlotte Code Camp this year), but the one here is so "young"... I will be finishing my code for BattleshipNet for the pocket PC, though. At least at first, my laptop and I will be living more or less alone in Charlotte. This should give me more time than I want to work on it. Which might be a good thing since I have to finish it, and document it well so I can use it in a book I am co-authoring. I am excited about the authoring for several reasons: 1) I respect the gentleman who asked me and his skills; I am flattered that he asked me, 2) I am passionate about the mobile framework, 3) I love to write code, and 4) I love to write period. Going to be a fun project, I believe. I am also going to clean up my form that allows for reassiging the hardware buttons and give it to my user group. If you are going to work on a mobile application, this will be most handy. I am also going to clean up the grid and make that available also. The user group has cancelled the game competition since the only entry (me) will not be there. So, no Xbox for me. :-) Ah, well. I am ok with that; heck, I suggested cancelling a few months ago when it came to our attention that no one else wrote anything.
