Tim Hibbard CEO for EnGraph software

I picked up a SanDisk 4gb usb key this weekend hoping to take advantage of the Vista ReadyBoost feature.  I plugged it in, selected ReadyBoost and waited for greatness.  I'm still waiting, it doesn't seem to be speeding up my system, but I haven't really been pushing it too hard either.

Tom Archer has a great post about ReadyBoost, but I didn't see an answer to "at what performance level does ReadyBoost make a noticeable difference?"

I'm surprised Tim. Without seeing it for myself, I would probably be skeptical and wouldn't be surprised at all by your experience, but I gotta tell you, my boost is signifigant. I'm on an HP-DV8000T 17" laptop with a dual-core T2600 (2.16 ghz), 2gig RAM, and dual 7200rpm 100gig SATA drives. Maybe the combination of my configuration is what made the difference, I don't know. But man, I ain't kidding - it's a real boost. I'm sorry you're not experiencing the same, especially with the same thumbdrive I have.
