Compaq not returning from standby
My laptop doesn't always correctly return from standby. The computer loads up, but the display will not show up. Found the fix here

Local computer search engine...blinkx. So far it seems cool and functional. Its still in beta. Business 2.0 had an article last month about Google, MSN and Yahoo coming out with similar technology soon

Access linked to SQL problem
One of our applications is an Access front end linked to a SQL backend. We link the tables and then all the database calls go against an ADODB connection. This weekend, I was supposed to do a major upgrade for one of our clients. This upgrade was going to involve changing the database structure, so I had the DBA add drop and create table permissions to my SQL login.
