Integrating a 3rd party system
Lets say management decides to have a 3rd party take over the system your team has been maintaining. Due to ever changing regulations that can't be kept up with. They say there will be plenty of development work helping to integrate the new system. Is sticking around a good or bad career move? I did this before and it was both good and not so good. It kept me employed during a recession but I worked on small adhoc projects related to integrating new and existing systems.
