Scott Van Vliet Once a Developer, Always a Developer

I'm not a fan of Reality TV.  I would go as far as saying that I loathe it.  I often wonder why people are so facinated by it.  I've also pondered how some people can have no shame, acting like fools in front of millions of people, while television executives make tons of $$$ while crushing peoples hopes and dreams (which are only heightened by the thought of making it big.)  This was recently made apparent by the suicide of a contender from the boxing reality show, "The Contender" - http://entertainment.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=181665.  This incident adds to the numerous oddities that have come about from Reality TV participants, such as the felonious contestants of American Idol.

I am not sure if this post could be considered a rant, but I just thought it was interesting.  It's funny to think I have time to post this, but not time to write the technical articles I've promised :)  I'll report back soon with some goodness ...
