I took a shot at the Microsoft Certification Exam 70-320 (Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft C# .NET) and passed yesterday! It was much more difficult than the first exam that I took – 70-315 (C# Web Apps). It’s funny – the name of exam leads you to believe that it would cover mostly Web Services. However, most of the questions I encountered on the test were about .NET Remoting and Enterprise Services (although technically Web Services are a part of .NET Remoting …). ......
So, I recently installed Windows SharePoint Services on my laptop (running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition) and found that my Reporting Services installation was hosed. So, I searched on the internet for solutions. I did everything, including reactivating the ReportServer, changing the different Virtual Server ports, and finally installed Reporting Services SP1. Still – no go. Frustrated, I wiped my laptop clean and installed only Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, SQL Server 2000 Enterprise, ......
