Visual Studio 2005 Crash Dump



I have been having a problem with VS 2005 and CSS files, often when i try and save a CSS file VS will crash.  Some of you have probably got the same issue??? I have at work and home so I assume it's not just something with my install!

So I emailed MS to see if the bug has been fixed in SP1....although not exactly sure they have asked me send them a crash dump and pointed me to this link for info so i thought i would share.

I was having a similar problem last week. I was using @import in one of my style sheets and it seems VS did not like this at all (same problem, different machines). Of course, it crashed when I first tried to save the CSS after removing the @import rag, but alas once I restarted VS, all was fine.

My Visual Studio keeps crashing when saving CSS files. This is definitely not an isolated problem.

Me too, try to save a CSS file and bang.

Wonder if it has anything to do with VSS?

Yes, I have this exact problem happen all the time. It crashes constantly, but only when I'm editing and saving CSS. Does no one have a solution?

I spoke the Scott Gu regarding this and was advised the fix was in VS2005 SP1 and when I installed SP1, the problem went away!

I've been having the same problem, however, SP1 did not solve the problem for me.
