Per-User Selective Audit in Windows Server 2003
According to Eric Fitzgerald (Windows auditing team) per-user auditing feature is added in Srv SP1 and XP SP2: We introduced a feature in Windows Server 2003 RTM where exceptions to audit policy can be set on a per-user basis. For example, audit logon/logoff activity for everyone, but audit all activity for EricF. Or, audit all activity for everyone, except SQLServiceAccount. Practical Cryptography book in Russian
It may be interesting only to my Russian readers, but great book about real-world cryptographic systems - Practical Cryptography by Niels Ferguson and Bruce Schneier is translated to Russian (available to preorder). BTW, according to Anil John: It would appear that Michael Howard and David LeBlanc, the authors of Writing Secure Code, are working on a new book with John Viega (Building Secure Software) and David Wheeler which is scheduled to hit the shelves in about 6 months.
