Saw this at the bottom of a post yesterday and just knew you would like to share :-). What a great way to look at life.
Life is not a journey to the grave, with the intention of arriving safely, in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: wow, what a ride!
*Start of vent*
Its probably a good thing for me to read at the moment because I have lost all sense of perspective, grace and good humour over this @#%^%$@ curfew. It was 'relaxed' today from 5am till 1pm, until further notice ..... It absolutely crazy, I am going stark raving mad being locked up. I'm just about ready to go out and start rioting myself. I tried to get a flight to Pokhara this morning, but everyone had the same idea and 'no go', it was totally booked. Out of 3 weeks here I have managed to get 2 days that have not been work, bandhs, sick or curfews. Great timing ... NOT. I'm still going to keep trying to get a flight tomorrow. I really need a few days of open air and freedom.
*End of vent*
Good I feel better now .. and I did manage to get a flight out tomorrow ( I think .. a lot was lost in the translation, so lets hope when I get to the airport I do have a booking ). I will wait and see in the morning what the situation is and if the curfew is still on, I'm out of here ....
