I downloaded the latest Windows Vista (Build 5536) this evening and installed it.  I am very impressed by how much this build has improved.  I was absolutely floored when I saw a pop-up baloon come up from the taskbar that said 'A Media Extender has been Found' when the Xbox 360 in my house was turned on...so I was a good geek and investigated this message.

Wow!  Vista automatically connected to the 360 as an extender (after entering the Xbox's 8 digit extender code) and now I am seeing Windows Media Center (add listening to my songs through the sound system) on my TV in HDTV via the 360...in less than 2 minutes of setup time.  Here's a screenshot from my Vista machine showing the 360 setup.

Xbox 360 + Windows Vista is now my new favorite toy, I'll post more soon about how the two work together.

Microsoft has released the 'Commerce Server 2007 Partner SDK' available here.  This is exciting because they have made the source code to the Business User Tools (Order/Customer Manager, Catalog Manager, and Marketing Manager) available to be customized.  Many of my clients need to modify or extend these out-of-the-box Tools, and I am extremely happy to see this will be a much simpler task.  Thank you!

There is a film crew for 'Spiderman 3' filming in downtown Cleveland, OH this week.  I walked out of my office building on the corner of E9th & Euclid and saw this, today....

Spiderman in Cleveland

Pretty Cool!  Spiderman was standing on a sled attached to a truck while holding a web, and he was acting as if he was being punched (by some CGI character, I assume).  The picture was taken with my mobile phone, so I'm sorry it's not a better shot.
