WInfx installation links and instructions

make sure you have Visual Studio 2005 installed (or express)

then install these in this order

WinFX Runtime Components : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=61DD9CA7-1668-42E4-BD37-03716DD83E53&displaylang=en
Windows SDK : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=64750EEF-D4A7-4CC8-92F2-9A201268A231&displaylang=en

there are a few gotchas here I am documenting my experience and I will post them in another Blog

I have about 4 or 5 accounts with WebHost4life.com, these are all my customers that based on my recommendation have been hosting with webhost4life.com. A few days ago for some reason they decided to migrate one of these accounts to a new server.

When you install Win 7 and get to the network selection if you select Home you’ll be asked if you want to create a Home group.A Home group allows you to join computers to an ad-hoc grouping on a network.

I realized the default “install location” is Vendor’s web site.I figured the version of report viewer that came with Beta 2 is older than the version on the server.After installing the latest report viewer and republishing everything was fine and i was able to install it on the clients.

Now the default.aspx for the page will appear.Areas that define the page layout itself will have a highlighted background color.Those lines cannot be changed unless you enter "Advanced Mode".So first, click the "Advanced Mode" button found on the Home menu.Now, looking at the HTML of the page, the part I want to change is near the bottom, and is the width of the two main Web Part Zones on the page.

As far as I can remember my home page has been Google.But recently I started using i Google instead since I wanted to have all my bookmarks which I keep in Google bookmarks to be accessible easily, also I wanted to keep an eye on the blogs I read through Google reader.A few days back i Google layout was changed and Google has introduced what they called a canvass view.
