So FIVE days of travel, and two days since my last shower... I finally was ushered onto the same C17 that bumped me on day 2. This time they had a new crew... and were outfitted to fit the 100+ soldiers and contractors that were stuffed in from stem to stern.
We arrived to be greeted by a cute Major... and later I'm told that sex is illegal. WTF? Damnit... I can see now - no fun for Steve. Who cares about the WWE being here... I was looking forward to some soldier-woman love. Oh well.
Anyway, I was immediately walked to my tent where I built my cots, took a shower and hit the dining facility(DFAC). My friend and I then headed over to the MWR building where they have some computers set up with dial-up speed access. I'm starting to get a headache from the 18” LCD running at 640x480. Owwww..... Talk at ya later.
