I have been working for a period of time on a new Windows Forms 2.0 project - which is driving me slowly insane.

Is it just me, or is the typed dataset databinding in visual studio 2005 and .Net 2.0 just horrendous to use unusable  - there are very few (possibly none) what I would call real world examples of how to create your typed dataset and then get the update, delete and adding new rows to a datatable.

Using stored procedures - if you dont generate the typed dataset with a select, insert, update and delete stored procedure the first time you create the typed datatset it just does not work full stop. If you add a typed datatset without all 4 and then try to go back and say add in a delete stored proc to the designer your screwed as it cant/wont figure the change out.

The samples on MSDN are far too basic, so if anyone can point me in the direction of some real world examples of adding new rows to a datagrid then please add a comment - I have been trying to use the select table adapters for adding new rows and deletes and not managed to get either working - VERY Frustrating stuff.

Cheers
G
