The new year is certainly starting off on the right foot for me. I woke up this morning to an email from Community Credit telling me that I won 4th place for December's competition. That was cool news (sorry David, but this slightly bigger news) until I saw another email from Microsoft telling me that I have received the 2008 Microsoft® MVP Award in the Visual Developer - Visual C# community.

This is my first MVP Award and I'm really excited about what it will bring over the course of the year.

Hey Now Scott,
Congratulations! Also I just saw your session @ fla code camp on the agenda 'Brownfield Software Development: Inheriting someone else’s code' looks like a good one.

Congrats! I added the MVP logo to your GWB account.

Congrats Scott! I followed Jeff's lead and did the same. You will now see an MVP logo next to your name on the discussion board. Overall, it sounds like a nice way to start the year! On top of that, your MVP Award can help you to win an iPod Docking Station Toilet Paper dispensor. Who can ask for better than that?

Anyway, keep up the great work!!!!!

@Catto, @Jeff, @David, @Simone: Thanks!
@Joe: Thanks! I'll let you and David fight it out over the ipod stuff. :) I'm sure he'd offer a zune if someone were willing to contribute one.
