Last time it was RFID, this time it's Bluetooth. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, you have the opportunity to receive content on it. What this content actually is hasn't been mentioned yet, but hopefully it will involve useful things like schedule changes and other important information. All you need to do is set your device's Bluetooth setting to "Discoverable". Of course, hopefully you'll remember to bring a charger and plug in every night to recharge.

ProximityMedia is also running a similar Bluetooth Content Advertising campaign at AdTech June 26-27th. I have evaluated both ProximityMedia and Bluecasting for our Tradeshow event and I prefer ProximityMedia's solution best because their software is more robust and they use encryption to prevent hacking. Check them out at http://www.proximitymedia.com

Steven - that's certainly a way to plug your own technology. In what way have you ever "evaluated" BlueCasting and how can you claim it's encrypted to prevent hacking?

Safe to say MicroSoft chose BlueCasting over you, so BlueCasting must be better.
