ANOTHER XBOX FAILURE

This is beyond ridiculous!  I have had 3 Xbox 360's fail on me, and that doesn't include the current system which came with a broken face plate. Now the HD-DVD drive is dead.  Microsoft's quality control on this system is the worst I have ever experienced.

I just spent 30 minutes with support where he kept asking me "Why are you using an external drive?  Just put the HD-DVDs in the internal drive."  I had to try very hard to convince him that not only would that not work but that Microsoft even makes an HD-DVD drive.

Then I got passed to a supervisor.  Another 30 minutes.  She said it would be $60 to repair the device I have had for 6 months.  And then I only get another 90 day warranty.  I didn't drop it, damage it or mistreat it.  It just failed.

XBOX 360 HARDWARE IS JUNK!

If anyone work's for Microsoft that can help me, please, please contact me through my blog.

Wow, that is ridiculous. I feel lucky that mine only broke once. And even then it was just locking up regularly, it still worked somewhat.

I am thinking of getting one because i can see gaming on that console going further than PS3 which has been like the love of my life :p

Looks like i might get a PS3 instead.

This kind of thing seems to be consistent with the XBox production in general. I had 3 of the original version die on me. That's the main reason I never bought a 360. Fool me ... er ... three times, shame on you, etc.
