Thank you for writing to Windows Live Beta Technical Support. My name is Tom and I will be addressing your concerns with installing Windows Live Writer on a 64 Bit System. I have contacted the product team about this issue and they have provided the following response:
We are working diligently on providing Vista x64-bit support. As stated in the release notes we are not supporting any 64-bit installations for this beta release, but this has always been in our plans for the final release. Due to overwhelming feedback from our 64 Bit customers, we are working hard to release a version of the installer that supports 64-bit even sooner than previously planned. So please check back periodically to the Windows Live Services Beta Installation site to look for this updated version of Windows Live Writer.
