User Friendly - The Board Game

If you're not a fan of the online comic User Friendly, you should be.  If you are, then you probably already know.

On Sunday they posted part 3 of a 3 part Sunday comic edition run for I.S.P. Survivor - The Game of Small-Stakes Treachery.

You can now print the game board, playing pieces and rules for some old school time wasting.

Is there a higher-quality graphic file for these pieces and gameboard anywhere? A PDF file maybe?

I started with the web graphic, used a graphics program to up the resolution, erased and re-typed a lot of the lettering, and printed it up on a color laser printer and then laminated it all.

Turned out pretty good, actually. If you want a copy of my improved graphic file, send me an email to kerinbot@comcast.net.

Also, we are working on a variation on the rules that is more playable. As written, the game is basically a lot of dice rolling, luck, wandering around and never really finishing the game, because it's much easier to interfere with someone who is about to win, than it is to actually complete any goals.

The game never ends if people are paying any attention at all and doesn't just let someone win because they are tired of playing.
