Geeks With Blogs

Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

Years ago at my first tech job, my boss had me add a praise statement to our product literature that read like this:  "I can't believe how easy it is" - John Somebody (I can't remember his name).  This quote was taken way out of context.  The actual quote was something like "I can't believe how easy it is to crash your software."

I still feel dirty about that one.  Luckily it never made it to print.  In today's web world, it probably would have made it to the web site though.  Much like this one....

A company called pmasoft has a product called Onlineeye Pro.  On their product page you will find this quote:

Some programs tell the user how to make a watch , when all the user really needs the time. Yours is one of those programs that is easy for people like me and tells us the time. Charles N.

But the picture next to it is of Scott Hanselman.

In the word's of Bubbles.  That's reeeaaaaally greasy!

(Extra points if you know who Bubbles is without following the link.  I'm guessing D'Arcy knows.)

I'm pretty sure that D'Arcy is related to Bubbles. It's a toss up who got the brains and who got the looks in the family though.

I sent an e-mail to Scott Hanselman so he knows about the problem. Let's see if they take his picture down.
