Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

I got a Google alert hit on a company I use to be associated with.  The link leads to a brochure for one of their products.

At the end of the brochure is a praise page.  There are four companies with quotes praising the software.  Two of the companies are sister companies owned by the same parent company.  The third company use to be owned by the parent company.  And the fourth company's quote is from the president's brother.  I notice they don't use the person's name, only the company.

This may be normal in the marketing world, but it seems very weaselly to me.  I'd give you the name of the company, but they would probably sue me.  I know they have made a past employee retract a statement on his blog and replace it with praise for the company, or they threatened termination.
