Waiting in Wal-Mart

So I managed to get my “kids“ an Xbox 360 yesterday (I hope they don't read this), solely due to the help of my brother-in-law and his wife who waited in line for me from 10AM to 4PM when I could get there.

How Microsoft Works

That's an accurate summary, but it doesn't tell anywhere near the whole story. It doesn't tell you that Microsoft is a business empire without equal, that its products are used in nearly every computer on the planet, or that it has yet to reach the height of its power and influence. Microsoft has become a symbol of all that is great about the information age, as well as all that is less-than-great about it.

Goodbye Yahoo!

I have had three very bad experiences with customer care. The last one sealed it. I upgraded my music subscription from monthly to yearly before the rate hike. But oops, Yahoo messed up and billed me monthly again. After a couple of e-mails back and forth, where it was obvious they were not reading my e-mails, I gave up, cancelled my premium services, and have likely left for good.

Maintaining Session Between Two Applications

Session data is very important for all applications. Session enable the application to recognize the user by using credentials. Sometimes we need to transfer the Session from one application to another. If you are working with In-Proc session mode than you cannot share the session in different applications. However there is a small way you can use to transfer the session from one application to another in the In-Proc session mode.
