Daddy, why do you have a step stool?



Ahhh the innocence of children. Last time my kids were over for the weekend my three year old daughter, Zoe asked: "Daddy why do you have a step stool in your bathroom?" It caught me off way guard. I just stared at her blankly for a good 15 seconds. Then managed a meager, "ummmm... I don't know." Luckily at 3 “I don’t know” seems to be a satisfactory answer.

Probably not all that funny funny unless you know:

01) I am 6'3" and can reach anything and everything in the bathroom (and really the entire house) without a step stool
10) My GF is 5'5"
11) She, too can reach everything in the bathroom

So either it's so you can bonk your 5'5" girlfriend standing up, or it's some totally bizarre factoid that matters to no one but yourself. Either way, lame. I'm sorry you showed up in my geekswithblogs feed in Google Reader. Not blogworthy pal.

WOW!!! Makes me think I need to get a step stool for my bathroom. 'cuz:

01) I'm 5'5"
10) My BF is 6'3"
11) we can both reach everything in my bathroom! =D

And I agree Andrew is a complete wanker. What a waste of time and energy just to comment about how lame a post is. Here's a juicy tid-bit "Wanker", a blog post can be about anything OR nothing just as long as its amusing to the author! Get a life!!! Go back to writing blog posts where you only reference other people's blog-posts. Creative!!!

Zoe sounds like a sweet inquisitive little girl. She probably wants you to get a step stool so that she will be more at home when she comes to visit.
