Steve Bargelt Oooooo biker!
I originally saw the "What is on My PC?" post on Andrew Connell's blog. What a great idea, Andrew! I have to admit that this post is much more for my own reference as it is for the greater good of the community. Steve, great configuration, I'm just curious about your hardware setup. What hardware are you using to support this conf?

Thanks
Victor

Thank for the interest Victor.

This is on a Dell Inspirion 8600 Laptop, Intel Pentium M Processor 745(1.80GHz/400MHz FSB), 1GB RAM, 80-GB HDD.

I usually allocate 384MB of RAM to each VM and I usually only run two at once; I do a ton of MCMS and SharePoint technologies integration so it is nice to have a SP VM and a CMS VM. Each VirtualPC image is roughly 4GB so luckily they fit on a single layer DVD. I will post more info on using VirtualPCs / Virtual Machines for development very soon.

You may check TargetProcess for project planning. It seems you like XP :)
