Heads up on the layout of Canadian launch events!! Simultaneously with the developer and it professional tracks, we will have the ‘cabana’ track. Sure enough, it sounds very exotic, but it has nothing to do with pink drinks with nice little umbrellas. But ….developers at PDC and TechEd loved it, so we are bringing them to Canadian launch events.
So, what is “Cabana” anyways? For those of us who haven’t been so lucky to be at this year’s PDC or TechEd, cabana would be an area secluded form the main event, where attendees can come in and discuss technology, in a relaxed environment, with cabana experts. I have been on point for cabana track, so here is a quick inside scoop….We have over 110 cabana experts participating. Areas of expertise include Visual Studio, SQL server, Biz Talk…to get more specific, there are guys who are C#, VB.NET, Security gurus (just to name a few). Those guys came from a variety of partners and sponsors, and I have to highlight the MVPs who stepped up big time and are even driving to many cities just to participate in the cabana. Make sure you look for a cabana in your city. Just ask one of the event staff about it. BE IN THE KNOW; CHECK OUT THE CABANA!
