Visual Studio.NET and the .NET Framework continue to attract developers, due to their power and easy of use. In the past, developing DirectX applications was the purview of C/C++ developers. With the introduction of Managed DirectX, developers who work with Visual Basic.NET, C++ and/or C# can now leverage the power and productivity of the .NET Framework in building Direct3D applications, including games and tools. Indeed, many game studios are already using Managed DirectX to decrease the time it takes to build internal tools used in their commercial products.
It doesn’t get much better then this people, so if you ever worked with DirectX, you can’t miss this chat. Add it to your calendar so you don’t miss it.
